Together we are equipping churches in the former Soviet Union with the resources for outreach in their local communities. By working with, for, and through local Bible-believing churches, we are able to help build a lasting framework in each community for reaching the unsaved with the Gospel, training the next generation, and caring for those in need.
In the result of His acting, countless people were able to receive and accept the saving message of the Gospel. Praise God for His acting!

I was born on April 9, 1964 in Almaty, Kazakhstan in a big Christian family of German background. We awere seven brothers and eight sisters. My father was deacon of the Evangelical Christan Baptist Church in our city. Although the Communistic government prohibited teaching children about God, I could hear the Bible stories and learned how to pray from my early childhood on. When I turned 14, I saw myself as a sinner and repented. Jesus became the Lord of my life. I was baptized at the age of 16. I started to work with children in the church, later with young people. At the age of 17, God called me into the ministry of preaching the Gospel, which I have continued doing ever since with great excitement and awe. From 1993 to 1997, I served as the Director of the Bible Mission Regional Ministry Center in Almaty, Kazakhstan. We moved to Germany in 1997 and continued serving at the Bible Mission Headquarter in Germany. I was responsible for the ministry and development of the Independent Correspondence Bible School of Bible Mission. In 2007, God entrusted me with the responsibility of serving as the Field Director of Bible Mission.
John has been a practicing attorney for over 44 years and has been a Christian since college in 1969.He has served on several Christian boards of directors over the years and was an Elder in his home church where he taught an adult Sunday School class for over 25 years. He also “substitute preached” for the SeniorPastor.Since2017 John has been the U.S. Executive Director for Bible Mission Global, having answered God’s call to continue serving Him after his retirement. In his words, “I have been so blessed to be a part of this ministry where I have seen the inspiring results of the Gospel being spread throughout the former SovietUnion and Central Asia. I have personally witnessed the wonderful impact on bringing the lost to Christ; seeing them discipled and always having their human needs being cared for directly through the generous gifts of our donor churches, foundations, and individuals. The opportunities are huge for the spreading of the Gospel as this area of the world is crying out for hope which only God through His Son can provide. Bibles, teaching materials, food, clothing, shelter, and more, are the fruits of the ministry and I am humbly grateful to share in this with all of you.”John is always eager to work with anyone who is interested in the ministry and will gladly answer all questions or needs.
We believe that the scriptures, the Old and New Testaments, are inspired by God and are without any mistakes, and that they are the final and highest authority over life and faith. (Matt. 28:18-19; II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:21)
We believe in an eternal God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:18-19, II Cor.13, 14; Heb. 1:1-3; Acts 5:3)
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and that He is true God and true man. (Luke 1:26; John 1:14; 14:6-11; Heb. 1:1-8)
We believe that man was created in God’s image, that he sinned causing separation from God; further, that all men are born with a sinful nature and that they are morally responsible for sin in thought, word and deed. (Rom. 3:10-26; I Thes. 1:7-9; Jer. 17:9)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sin, as the scripture says, as representative and substitute sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified through His shed blood. (I Cor. 15:1-24; Heb. 10:2-22; I John 2:1-2)
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of Jesus Christ, His ascent to heaven, and in His presence there for us as high priest and advocate. (I Cor. 15:1-24; Heb. 10:12-22; I John 2:1-2)
We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Heb. 9:28; Rev. 1:5-8; Acts 1: 8-12; I Thes. 4:13-18)
We believe that all who in faith accept Jesus Christ as their Savior are born again in the Spirit and they receive eternal life and become children of God. (John 3:3-6)
We believe in the physical resurrection of the just and unjust, in the eternal salvation of the redeemed and the damnation of the lost while fully conscious. (Matt. 25:46; Dan. 12:2-3; Rev. 20:4-6, 10-15)
We believe in the teaching of the Gospel as Jesus Christ said: Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-48; Acts 1:8; II Cor. 5:20)
